Newborn Baby
I recently kept a two month old baby for a friend of the family.
The beautiful little infant girl looked at me with "unknowing" eyes, maybe
trusting that her mom was leaving her with this stranger because she would
take special care of her precious blessing!
I fed and burped the baby, held and rocked the baby, changed the baby's diaper...
even when it had more than urine in the diaper...
All was well at the end of my babysitting experience and mom was very happy
that her dear daughter was happy.
Despite the age of the children, the school is still considered a place that
parents trust to leave their most precious blessing! It is incumbent upon
all educators to take very good care of the young people who enter the
school gates each and every day!
We absolutely want parents to feel as though we honor the trust they
have placed in us to care for their children.
Children matter!
