A Valley of Committed Teachers!
Recently, I had the pleasure of working with English and Social Studies teachers at a Granada Hills middle school around a workshop entitled, "Diverse Teaching for Diverse Learners". This was a warm and sunny day that required me to drive on the dreaded 405 freeway! The drive was well worth it!
I had the best time with these wonderful teachers!
They walked into the PD with smiles, hellos, and positive dispositions!
The teachers were engaged, attentive and willing to be reflective about their own teaching practices.
I commend these teachers for their high expectations for great teaching and its impact
on their students' academic achievement.
Entreat your faculty, department or small learning community members to rally together and collectively create environments that breed success at your schools and in your classrooms!
Kudos to the Valley of Committed Teachers!
