Somewhere Over the Rainbow!
Many parts of California have experienced excessive rain in the past few days. The deluge of rain has caused flooding, toppled trees and many car accidents. "Sunny" Southern California has not been exempt from these days of steady rain. As I was traveling west on Manchester (for those of you familiar with Los Angeles), I was amazed to see a beautiful rainbow stretched across the sky.
Of course, I thought about our work as educators, parents and professionals who deal with students of all ages...Many times, we experience students who are dealing with a lot of issues that impact their ability to concentrate on their work. Honestly, we all have issues in our lives that impact our ability to effectively do our jobs.
Well...I have good news...even in the midst of the storm...even when there's torrential rains....even when life seems to be cloudy and no solution is apparent...there is always a silver lining...and...if you look up....you can be assured that the resolution is somewhere over the rainbow! Be an encourager, an inspiration and a facilitator of students' success....every problem has a solution and you can be the source of strength and hope in their lives!
